Click icon mode, then hit Toggle collapse — sidebar shrinks to icon rail, labels hide, sub-menus collapse.
Click offcanvas, collapse — sidebar slides fully out of view.
Click floating or inset — page reloads with new variant visual (detached card vs inset content).
Active state on Dashboard / Projects / Team follows current_page?.
Badges (12, 3), group action (→), menu action (⌄), and search input all visible when expanded.
